Teaching Experiences

  • Teaching as an Assistant Professor in Holy Cross College from 1st of August 2012  till date.
  • Associated with IGNOU as a Academic Councellor at the under-graduate (B.A.) and post-graduate (M.A.) level from August 2013  till date.
  • Taught in as Guest Lecturer in Holy Cross College from 1st of August 2011 to 30th of June 2012.
  • Taught at the undergraduate level (B. A.) and at the post-graduate level (M. A.), as a Faculty Associate from 26th of July 2011 to  31st of May 2012 in ICFAI University, Tripura.
  • Taught the course Language Learning at the undergraduate level (B. A.), as a Teaching Assistant from 6th of January 2011 - 21st July 2011, at Jawaharlal Nehru University.
  • Taught the course Introduction to Linguistics at the undergraduate level (B.A.), as a Teaching Assistant, from 22nd of July 2010 - 5th of January 2011 at  Jawaharlal Nehru University.

  • Participated in LISSIM 5 (Linguistics in Summer/Spring School in Indian Mountains) held at Kangra from the 21st May to 8th of June 2011.

Research projects

  • Participated in working out a project questionnaire on DFG-Project on Discontinuous Noun and Prepositional Phrases in Bangla, of the Postdam University, Germany in December 2008-February 2009.
  • Worked on Nyishi for preparing a Field Report as part of the M.A. course, Field Methods, in JNU, entitled Negation and Interrogation in Nyishi.

TALK Delivered / Special Lecture / Invited Lecture

  • A talk on the topic First Phase Sytntax: a restructured analysis delivered on 30th of October, 2018, in Centre for Linguistics, JNU, New Delhi.

  • Chaired a technical session in the 7th World -CWS Conference 2021-2022 on Women and Technology on 25th of March, 2022,


  • Been the Chairperson in the session organised by ISPELL Tripura Forum on 26th of February, 2022 on Trumpets and Raspberries: A Satire in Indian Stage through Translation
